From an overbooked plane to crowded ski
hills, crying babies right behind you to people speaking an entirely different
language that you can’t understand a single word, different currency, different
food, an entirely different culture. The past couple days have been crazy but a
great learning and life experience.

In only the past two days we have figured
out how to ski on this European snow (quiet different from back in Canada) with
success all round, cruised down the Hahnemkamm downhill course, twice, at
Kitzbuhel as well as skiing around almost all of the resort which is absolutely
massive! We have also managed to fit in some ice go-karting, we had a wicked
time racing around the track, drifting and crashing into the snow banks (and
team mates) many times.

After skiing the Hahnemkamm downhill
course, and I think I speak for everyone in saying this, I have gained an
entirely new level of respect for not only the winners but any athlete willing
to throw their bodies down that ridiculously insane course over the past 50
years.

Overall the past two days have been a huge
learning curve, with great exposure to different ski scene and culture.
