Yo,

Check out the updates below from the K2's at Norquay (FIS update will be featured in a seperate blog - be sure to check it out)

It was a great day on the slopes for the IR crew.  The women had a good second run, really charging, and the boys were very good.  The results are as follows:

·         Louisa Davies – DSQ, straddled the 5th and 7th gate, very good effort.  She finished out the run and skied well
·         Annie Mahon – 41st, good effort second run for Annie (congrats to Annie as well for her most improved from GS 1 yesterday as well!)
·         Sarah Dennis – 13th, and also the most improved with a move from bib 54 to 13th place
·         Nick Biggins – DSQ, straddled the one of the last gates, but not without a really good fight up top
·         Jack Craig – 31st, just out of the top 30.  Great effort second run, use that energy for tomorrow Jack
·         Harrison Coull – 8th, most improved male again jumping from bib 111 to 8th place. Quote from Hap, ‘It will be nice to have a clean track second run!’
·         Louis Muhlen – 4th, just off the podium with a wild ride on his second run, we thought the rodeo was in town
·         Oli Thompson – 1st, it was great to see Oli on the top step, and with run of the day with his first run on the track (on sprongo).  He let it all hang out and took some big risks which paid off.

Let’s hope for a great day on snow again tomorrow

Da boyz...ready to roll!

Dennis, Sarah en route to a top 15 finish (13th) from bib 54...earning her most improved for the day

Davies, Louisa - back in action after a tough week of recovery - the difference between a good turn and a straddle in SL most often isn't much...sometimes you've got to go too far before you know where the limit is...

Mahon, Annie in 2nd run action today (on a side note, Annie was the most improved from race 2 GS on Friday...well done)

Muhlen, Louis on his way to 4th place finish

Thompson, Oli getting a little loose during 2nd run - good to see you risk Oli!

Craig, Jack - fast in moments ... looking forward to more consistency tomorrow

Louis, Oliver and Harrison - 3 in the top 5 ...well done

Brett and Louisa - inspection run 1 this morning

Davies, Louisa - run 1

Sarah and Fiona

GS Friday race 1 podium - Louis 2nd, Oli 3rd, Harrison 5th

Oli celebrating the win whilst drawing attention to the latest 'I Products' forearm guard (get in touch w. Iain McFie or Oli Thompson if you're looking for shinnies or forearm guards)
